Foot Reflexology

Foot reflexology is an alternative treatment method that assumes that specific areas of the feet represent reflex points for various organs and parts of the body.

What is foot reflexology good for?

Relief from digestive problems

Stimulating certain reflex zones on the feet can support the function of the digestive system. Many patients find that foot reflexology helps alleviate their digestive symptoms, such as flatulence, constipation or heartburn.

Improving sleep quality

Good sleep hygiene is crucial for physical health, as it helps to promote body and mind regeneration, strengthen the immune system and improve the immune system.

By promoting relaxation and stress relief, foot reflexology can help promote calmer and more consistent sleep.

Support in the treatment of illnesses

Although foot reflexology is not an independent treatment for illnesses, many patients use it as an accompanying measure to conventional medical treatment. This form of therapy can help alleviate the symptoms of certain diseases and improve overall well-being.

Foot reflexology by Hanne Marquardt

Foot reflexology by Hanne Marquardt is a specific method of reflexology developed by German physiotherapist Hanne Marquardt. This therapy is based on the assumption that certain areas of the feet represent reflex points for various organs and parts of the body and that a positive effect on the entire body can be achieved by stimulating these reflex zones.

The reflex zones on the feet are stimulated through precise pressure techniques and massage maneuvers. It is assumed that the reflex zones have direct connections to the corresponding organs and body parts.

The therapy can be individually adapted to the needs and complaints of the patient. Depending on the symptoms and goals present, the stimulation of certain reflex zones can be intensified or reduced.

Time, costs and deadlines

Time and costs

You can expect around 60 minutes per appointment. The hourly rate is 120 CHF/h and is billed according to effective time spent.

Attention: Until I graduate as a naturopath (May 2025), health insurance only covers foot reflexology services. You can find more information about this here.

cancelling

I would like to point out to you that appointments at least 48 hours before the agreed appointment must be cancelled so that you do not incur any costs. Should a cancellation be made later, the costs will unfortunately be charged. Thank you for your understanding and I hope you take this into account so that I can make the best possible time schedule and use my resources effectively.
